On Sunday, January 21, 2018 Annie Kozakevich of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 88 years. Annie is survived by her children Edward (Cherney) Kozakevich of Lac La Biche, Dianna (Leonard) Tkachyk of Edmonton, David (Lorraine) Kozakevich of Lac La Biche, Dennis (Wanda) Kozakevich of Lac La Biche, Norman Kozakevich of Lac La Biche, grandchildren Jennifer (Bernard), Tracy, Curtis, Darrell, Korina (Robert), Ryan (Katrina), Kristen (Travis), great grandchildren Kaiya, Kaden, Wyatt, Trace, Talen, Tatum, Walter, brothers John (Marie) Swistelnicki of Cold Lake, George Swistelnicki of Cold Lake, brother and sister in law Harry and Edith Kozakevich of Lac La Biche, sister in law May Kozakevich of Fort Saskatchewan, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Annie is predeceased by husband John in 2005, son Marshall in 1948, parents John in 1938, Mary in 2004, sisters Jean (Pat) Benoit, Alom (Joe) Meunier.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:30 AM at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Lac La Biche with The Very Rev. Archpriest Michael Domaradz officiating and interment followed in the St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Craigend, AB.
Pallbearers were Curtis Kozakevich, Darrell Kozakevich, David Kozakevich, Ryan Kozakevich, Travis Skoreyko, Leonard Tkachyk.
Special thank you to the staff at the extended care and acute care in the Lac La Biche hospital, as well as Lacalta Lodge.
