On Wednesday, August 5, 2015 Ashley Axenchuk of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 38 years. Ashley is survived by his wife April Blood of Heart Lake, parents Paul Boucher of Lac La Biche, Margarete Axenchuk of Barrhead, children Emma (Lane) Axenchuk of Red Deer, Clair Axenchuk Blood of Heart Lake, sister Penny (Terry) Legare of Westlock. Ashley is predeceased by grandparents Joseph and Lilian Axenchuk, grandparents Joseph and Florance Boucher.

A Wake was held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Heart Lake Community Centre in Heart Lake.

Funeral Service were held on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Heart Lake Community Centre in Heart Lake with Pastor Calvin Skriver officiating and interment followed in the Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Heart Lake.

Honourary Pallbearers were Aaron Axenchuk, Brian Axenchuk, Emile Axenchuk, Evan Axenchuk, Jacob Axenchuk, Jeffery Axenchuk, Justice Jackson.

Pallbearers were Anthony Blood, Keith Blood, Martin Boucher, Wesley Boucher, Terry Brandt, Adam Cardinal.
