On Friday, July 21, 2017 Darcy Castor of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 42 years. Darcy is survived by his wife Leona Commanda of Maniwaki Kitigan-Bibi, Que, father  Louis Cardinal of Lac La Biche, siblings Diane Lepine of Lac La Biche, Leslie (Betty) Castor of Lac La Biche, Joyce (Lenard) Deschambeau of Lac La Biche, Bernard (Donica) Castor of Lac La Biche. Darcy is predeceased by his mother Elsie, sisters Margie and Bertha, maternal grandparents Caroline and Christoff, paternal Isabelle Matiste, Pere Matiste.

A Wake was held on Thurs. & Fri. July 27 & 28, 2017 starting at 4:00 PM at Maria Munroe Hall in Beaver Lake, AB.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Lac La Biche with Father Trini Pinca officiating and interment followed in the Willow Park Cemetery Lac La Biche.

Honourary Pallbearers were Wayne Boucher, Bella Brereton, Bob Bugle, Jenissa Commonda, Larson Huppie and all of Darcy's ATV Riding Friends,

Pallbearers were Denis Boucher, Kevin Brereton, Wendle Brereton, Derek Erasmus, Sean Gust, Nathan Jasman.
