On Wednesday, March 11, 2015 Elmer Erasmus of Kikino, AB passed away at the age of 86 years. 
Elmer is survived by his children Mereena Houle, Welma (Roy) Sanderson, Erwin (Dianne) Erasmus, Leslie (Margaret) Erasmus, Louie Erasmus, Alma (Bob Best) Erasmus, Phyllis (Gerald) Brereton, Vern Erasmus, step-sisters Elizabeth LaFleur & Delia Pruden, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren, and extended family. 
Elmer is predeceased by his grandparents Ida & Samuel Bull, parents Georgina & Lewis Erasmus, his wife Delphine Erasmus, son Duane, daughters Janet and Marilyn, grand-daughter Elise Brown, great-grandson Kolby Sangrey, sisters Beatrice Ladouceur, Mildred Erasmus, Jemima Stevenson, Madeline Galdue, Louise Lorie, brothers William Erasmus, Peter Erasmus, Jimmy Erasmus, Francis Erasmus, special son Vernon Ladouceur and son-in-law Clifford Houle.

A Wake was held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Elmer’s Residence in Kikino and then moved on Sunday March 15 at 1:00 PM to the Kikino Community Hall.

Funeral Services was held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Kikino Community Hall in Kikino with Rev. Robert Wright officiating and interment followed in the Kikino Community Cemetery.

Honourary Pallbearers were Ray Bellerose, Guy Erasmus, Joe Erasmus, Roy Erasmus, Wayne Erasmus, Derrick Kruk, Arnold Stienhauer, Samuel Strynka.

Pallbearers were Chad Erasmus, Duane Erasmus, Tyrel Erasmus, Curtis Houle, Charles Laviolette, Chris Sanderson.
