On Thursday, May 7, 2015 Ernie Cardinal of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 89 years. Ernie is survived by his children Raymond (Alec), Garry, Ronnie, Connie, Sarah (James), Tina (Albert), Shirley (Darrell), Lorrie-Ann (Pat), Lenore (Chloe), Claudette, Shaun, Dewey, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, sisters Eliza & Nora. Ernie is predeceased by his wife Annie Cardinal in 2007, children Jackie, Raymond, Garry, Jerry, Terry & Vivian, parents Magloire & Bertha, brother Patrick, sisters Lena, Florence, Elsie & Sarah.

Public Visitations was held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Mission View Funeral Chapel in Lac La Biche .

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche with Fr. Trini Pinca officiating and interment followed in the Willow Park Cemetery Lac La Biche.

Honourary Pallbearers were Raymond Cardinal, Connie Houle, Pat Wheeler.

Pallbearers were Claudette Cardinal, Lenore Cardinal, Sarah Cardinal, Shirley Cire, Terri-Anne Roesch, Lorrie-Ann Wheeler.
