On Friday, November 25, 2016 Hugh Wanke of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 88 years. Hugh is survived by loving wife of 60 years Lois Wanke of Lac La Biche, children Leslie (Real) St. Jean of Wandering River, Dana Anderson of Bruderheim, Edward (Denise) Wanke of Lac La Biche, grandchildren Jamy (Doug) Harder, Scott St. Jean, Logan Anderson, Alison, Naomi and Isabel Wanke, great grandchild Sophie Harder, sisters Valerie Keyes, Fryda McPhee, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Hugh is predeceased by his parents Rosalie & Edward Wanke, sister Helen, brothers Gus & Alfred.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Victory Fellowship 10001 - 90th Avenue  in Lac La Biche with Pastor Daren Werk officiating.
