Mary Wowk

On Monday, February 5, 2018 Mary Wowk of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 82 years. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years Paul, five children Darlene (Dwayne), Phylis (Bruce), Daniel (Brenda), Dwayne (Suzanne) and Jackie (Randy), 12 grandchildren Candice (Scott) Crandall, Adam (Chantell) Richard, Ryan (Kristen) Gauthier, Shannon (Andrew) Deagnon, Melissa (Andrew) Trimble, Ryley Wowk, Kaylee Wowk, Scott Wowk, Dawn Kunz, Shalayne Wowk, Craig Kunz, Jesse Wowk, 9 great grandchildren Jaden Crandall, Chase Crandall, Taylah Richard, Aidymn Gauthier, Ryder Crandall, Evva Gauthier, Brady Richard, Olive Gauthier and Ellie Trimble.   
Mary is also survived by her sister Olga Corse, sister-in-law’s Sophia Chwedoruk, Denise Wowk, Rose Wowk, Sylvia Wowk, and brother-in-law Bill Palamaruk and numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents Anton and Michalina Chwedoruk, sisters Ann Smolak & Helen Palamaruk, her brothers Walter Chwedoruk, Joe Chwedoruk, and sister-in-law Nina Chwedoruk and brother-in-laws Don Corse and Pete Smolak.  Mary was also predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Dmytro and Lucy Wowk, brother-in-laws Steve Wowk, John Wowk and Eddie Wowk, nephew Chris Wowk, nieces Linda Chwedoruk & Donna Wowk.

Prayer Services were held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 7:00 PM at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Lac La Biche with Father Aureus Manjares officiating.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Lac La Biche with Father Aureus Manjares officiating and interment followed in the Willow Park Cemetery Lac La Biche, AB

Pallbearers were Ryan Gauthier, Adam Richard, Craig Kunz, Jesse Wowk, Ryley Wowk, Scott Wowk.
