On Wednesday, November 1, 2017 Maxime Desjarlais of Lac La Biche, AB formally of Fort Saskatchewan, passed away at the age of 88 years. Maxime is survived by nieces and nephews, Beatrice (Rod) Cardinal, Edward Quinn, Alfred Quinn, Henry (Jacqueline) Desjarlais, David (Chris) Gladue, Kenny (Natalie) Gladue, Richard Gladue, Leona Bugle, Cecile Bugle, Bob Bugle, Leo Bugle, Sallyann Bugle, Josephine Jackson. Maxime is predeceased by parents Joseph and  Margaret Desjarlais.

A Wake was held on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Owl River Recreation Centre in Owl River, AB.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Owl River Recreation Centre in Owl River, AB with Deacon E.J. (Ernie) Sehn officiating and interment followed in the Our Lady of the Snow Cemetery, Big Bay, AB.

Pallbearers were Clifford Boucher, Herman Boucher, Rod Cardinal, David Gladue, Kenny Gladue, Dustin Grekel.
