It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother Melva Pattison on Sunday May 1, 2016 at the age of 85. Melva Pattison resided in Edmonton and was formerly of Bonnyville and Lac La Biche, AB. Melva is survived by her children Richard Bourque of Edmonton, Gary (Barb) Bourque of Lac La Biche, Brenda (Brian) Bourque - Stratichuk of Lac La Biche, Dean Bourque of Edmonton, Dale (Simone) Bourque of Fort McMurray, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Siblings Malvina Neuman of Independence,MO,  Henry (Audrey) Laliberte of Edmonton, Doreen (Mel) Robert of Saskatoon, Selma (William) Roy of Green Lake, Shirley (Danny) L'Heureux of Meadow Lake, Melva is predeceased by her husbands: Rene Bourque and Eric Pattison , mother Mary Nichols, siblings Lucien Laliberte, Clarence Laliberte, Wayne Nichols and Gary Nichols.

Funeral Services were held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Evangelical Free Church in Lac La Biche with Pastor Emmanuel Chiwele officiating and cremation took place following the service.
