On Saturday, March 14, 2015 Nickifor Ewanchuk of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 95 years. Nickifor is survived by his siblings Ivan (Annette) Ewanchuk of Edmonton, Kay Yanew of Edmonton, Nick (Alice) Ewanchuk of Surrey, BC, Steve (Ana) Ewanchuk of Edmonton, Anne Kostyniuk of Edmonton, Mike Ewanchuk of Lac La Biche, Mary Love of Vernon, BC, Kathleen Mazur of Spruce Grove, Lena Jarvis of Kamloops, BC, Al (Yvonne) Ewanchuk of Vernon, BC. Brother in law Nick Basaraba of Valemont, BC, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Nickifor is predeceased by his parents Zanichira & Peter Ewanchuk, brother George Ewanchuk, sister Helen Basaraba, brothers in law Karl Love, William Yanew, Andy Kostyniuk, Bill Mazur, Steve Kolodinski and Martin Heine.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10:30 AM at All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Lac La Biche with The Very Rev. Michael Domaradz as Celebrant and interment followed in the Willow Park Cemetery Lac La Biche.

Pallbearers were Bob Ewanchuk, Larry Ewanchuk, Wes Kostyniuk, Martin Savage, Susan Silverman, Carlos Tremblay.
