On Saturday, February 7, 2015 Peter Benson of Caslan, AB passed away at the age of 89 years. Peter is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Francis Benson, children Rita (Andy) Kulyk, Ronald (Beverly) Benson, Phillip (Leann) Benson, Norman  Benson (Lorraine Belhomme), Harold Benson (Irene Ferguson), Brian Benson, Randy (Julie) Benson, Rhonda Benson (Martin Poirier), daughters in law Alvina Benson, Lori Desjarlais, grandchildren Trevor Benson, Stephen Kulyk, Jaime Kulyk, Shawna Benson, Robert Jr. Benson, Ian Benson, Laura Dalgleish, Travis Benson, Byron Benson, Sapphira Belhomme, Tiffany Belhomme, Isaac Benson, Mandy Favel, Adrien Desjarlais, Jessica Desjarlais, Cody Benson, Jamie Benson, Janeen Benson, Nadine Benson, Evan Benson, Brittany Hetu, Peter F. Benson, Greta Benson, brothers Gerald, Solomon, Ernest, sister Katie Leach, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He is predeceased by his parents Mary Jean and Edward Benson, sons Robert, Harvey, Peter Jr., granddaughter Jennifer Benson, great grandson Jonathan Benson, brothers James, Charles, Emile, Sam, sister Mary Duchnych.

Funeral Services were held on, February 12, 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche with Fr. Trini Pinca officiating and interment followed in the Willow Park Cemetery, Lac La Biche, AB.

Pallbearers were Evan Benson, Isaac Benson, Peter F. Benson, Robert Jr. Benson, Trevor Benson, Stephen Kulyk.
