Ralph Kenneth Luchak
May 10, 1944 - January 12, 2016
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ralph Kenneth Luchak of Fork Lake, Alberta. Born in Myrnam, Alberta to Rose and Victor Luchak. Ralph grew up in Two Hills. In his youth he was an accomplished basketball player. Ralph graduated from NAIT and Lakehead University. He had a successful career working in the oil and gas industry. He was so successful that he was able to retire at an early age to Denman Island where he resided until moving to Fork Lake, Alberta. During that time he learned to sail.Ralph’s passions included quading, fishing and traveling. He was well known as a merciless cribbage player.
Ralph was predeceased by; his father, Victor, his mother, Rose, and his brothers Richard and Wayne. Ralph is survived by his brother Barry Luchak (Donita), his step son Lance Chartrand (Shauna), and step daughter, Nadine Rimmer (Paul).

A public viewing was held on Friday, January 22, 2016, 7 pm at Mission View Funeral Chapel, 133 Sentinel Industrial Park, Lac La Biche, Alberta
Funeral Service were conducted on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10 am at St Mary’s Parish in Szypenitz, Alberta with Father Peter Haugen as Celebrant with interment in the Church Cemetery. Meal to follow the service at the Hairy Hill community centre.
Pallbearers were Mike Adams, Barry Luchak, Greg Luchak, Kris Luchak, Ethan Rimmer, Evan Rimmer, Paul Rimmer.
