On Wednesday, November 15, 2017 Sarah Desjarlais of High Prairie, AB passed away at the age of 71 years. Sarah is survived by her daughter Virginia Desjarlais (Vern), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren.  Sarah is predeceased by her father Diom Desjarlais, mother Maggie Desjarlais, daughter Sandra Desjarlais, grandson Deom Desjarlais, children Ron Desjarlais, John Desjarlais.

A Wake was held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Conklin Nakewin Centre in Conklin, AB.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Conklin Nakewin Centre in Conklin, AB, with Father Augustine Joseph officiating and interment followed in the St. Vincent Cemetery, Conklin, AB.

Honourary Pallbearers were Joe Cardinal, William Desjarlais, Dean Quintal, Kirk Reid, Clarence Thom, Ernie Thom.

Pallbearers were Erwin Boucher, Curtis Desjarlais, Ernie Desjarlais, Jack Desjarlais, Peter Patanaude, Reggie Reid.
