My dearest friend Amy and family, my deepest condolences are being sent to you at this very sad time.
.Your Dad was my dad's closest friend back in the day. I remember earning my first quarter from Syl. All of us kids sitting in the living room of your acreage home in Grassland, your mom and dad were about to go out, both looking wonderful. I said to your dad in my most infinite wisdom of a 7 year old, "you look very handsome Mr. Mudry".
Well I'll be darned if he didn't give me a quarter from his pocket. Back then it was a lot of money for a little girl. I will never forget that night and how rich I felt, in more ways than one.
Heaven just received another angel.

It is with a sad heart to hear of the passing of a dear friend of our family. Syl was a very special person and although our lives have taken many different paths,his name always came up whenever the Herb Cappis family would get together wether it be the times I babysat the kids for him and Dorothy so they could get out for some much needed alone time or just some of the crazy stories he had to tell. He will never be forgotten in our family. His kids,grands and greats were so important to him.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his kids and all of his family during this time of great loss. He is gone but never forgotten, may he rest in peace

We are so sorry to hear the passing of Syl. Although we never saw too much of him, he was considered a very good friend of the Cappis family at Lacombe and to Ed and his family at Entwistle. Please except our most humble condolences to the entire Mudry family and extended family as well..

Sad for Slys' passing. We did lots of things together from the time he was out John Deere salesman to the fishing trips to Stephen's fire tower to the thousands of bales he made for us over the falls he worked helping us harvest . A great friend to my sons Christopher and Cameron He will be greatly missed He lived a full and exemplary life and took care of all his family and friends

Sylvester was my (Patrick) first cousin...Our birthdays were just 2 weeks apart, and we both turned 80 in April. As kids we spent a lot of time together growing up in Rama. . We had a wonderful reunion at my 80th birthday in Saskatoon on March 11th, we are so happy to have had that special time together, it was a happy fun time. And we have special memorable photos we will now cherish. Sylvester has that wonderful smile in every photo. Our sincere sympathies to Steve and the entire Mudry family. And to his wonderful companion Marguerite, it was so nice to meet you. All the best to all of you....Just remember the good times, and smile when you think of your dad, your brother, your grandfather, And of course he was a friend to so many. Love from us... My heart-felt sorrow upon hearing of Syl's passing. I will miss his happy and sunny smile at the Lac La Biche Farmers' Market and at the Athabasca Farmers' Market. Syl always had a funny story to share with fellow vendors. I will treasure the bird houses and bird feeders that I got from Syl over the past couple of years.
