On Sunday, June 9, 2019 Cory Edward Benson of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 43 years. Cory is survived by his spouse Amanda Benson, one older daughter, one son Patience Benson, siblings Gerald (Yvonne) Boostrom, Lorraine (Ron) Whitford, Irene Berard, Angela (Ernest Pruden) Benson, father Ernest Benson, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cory is predeceased by his mother Mary Benson, siblings Ernest Berard, Linda Berard, Margaret Berard, Brenda Berard, Audrey Benson, Theresa Berard, Melvin Boostrom.

Funeral Service on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00amat Beaver Lake Multipurpose Building in Beaver Lake Cree Nation, AB with Fr. Aureus Manjares officiating. Interment in the Beaver Lake Cemetery, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, AB.

Pallbearers were Brett Benson, Cody Benson, Darren Berard, Trevor Boostrom, Ernest Pruden, Ron Whitford.
