On Monday, July 16, 2018 Flora Whitford of Kikino, AB passed away at the age of 86 years. Flora is survived by her partner Walter Thompson, children Ralph Whitford, Josephine (Wayne) Collins, Violet Whitford, Lawrence (Mary) Whitford, Donald Whitford, Doris (Wes) Howse, John Whitford, sisters Rita Gladue, Margaret (Stan) Wolen, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren & great great great grandchildren. Flora is predeceased by the father of her children, two daughter, one son, six grandchildren, one great grandson, one great granddaughter, parents, five sisters and five brothers.
A wake was held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Maria Munroe Hall in Beaver Lake, AB with Fr. Aureus Manjares officiating.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Beaver Lake, AB with Fr. Aureus Manjares officiating. Interment followed in the Beaver Lake Cemetery, Beaver Lake, AB.
Honourary Pallbearers were all of her grandchildren
Pallbearers were Mikko Calliou, Tyler Collins, Lance Erasmus, Craig Howse, Leon Patneaude, Bill Whitford, Clifford Whitford, Dennis Whitford, Horace Whitford.
