On Wednesday, July 21, 2010  Francis Roderick Cardinal of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 28 years. Francis is survived by his wife Megan Houle, his children Colin, Kendall, Ashton, Masion, Nigel, Serenity, Junior Junior, his sister Lee Ann Cardinal of Lac La Biche, his brothers Harlen Harrison and Ryan Harrison, father Francis Larocque, stepfather Larry Dominic, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He is predeceased by his mother Sophie Cardinal in 2010, brother Kevin Cardinal in 1998, sister Crystal Cardinal in 1975, grandmother Rebecca Cardinal in 1975, grandparents Madeline Cardinal and  Roderick Larocque.

A wake was held on Saturday and Sunday July 24 & 25,  2010 at the Maria Munroe Hall in Beaver Lake.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM at  St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Lac La Biche with Father Casmir Muobike officiating and interment  followed in the Beaver Lake Cemetery, Beaver Lake, AB.
