Gary Nevill

After a lengthy illness, Gary Nevill, of Lac La Biche, Alberta, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the age of 66 years. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Emily Nevill, his daughter Janessa (Andre) Nevill of Lac La Biche, Alberta, his son Jarett (Tiago) Nevill of Edmonton, Alberta, special family Tyler (Tess) Mann and their daughter Tenley of Lac La Biche, Alberta, his parents Ferne and Don Nevill of Tillsonburg, Ontario, brother Rick (Cheryl) Nevill of Port Burwell, Ontario, sister Laurie (Danny) Redmond of Carleton Place, Ontario, brother-in-law Emil Johanson of Spruce Grove, Alberta, sisters-in-law Winnie Johanson of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Claire (Don) Gourley of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Sally Johanson (Gary) of Lac La Biche, Alberta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Gary Nevill, a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, was a selfless man of many talents and extraordinary courage. Generous, kind, and hard-working, he was always ready to lend a helping hand (and as one friend put it, "He was a damn good fisherman"). Gary was loved and respected by many and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

Gary is predeceased by his mother-in-law Bernadette Johanson, brothers-in-law Stanley and Willie Johanson, as well as grandparents Roy Nevill and Ida Locker of Vienna, Ontario, and William Grass and Pearl Bastien of Richmond, Ontario.

At Gary's request, no service will be held. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, or the Lac La Biche Regional Humane Society.
