On Monday, October 18, 2010 Mr. George E. Chevigny of Plamondon, AB passed away at the age of 71 years. George is survived by his wife Emilie Chevigny, children Danny & Rhonda Chevigny, Valerie & Donald Bourassa, grandchildren Aaron Chevigny, Samantha Chevigny (Mike Linskog), Scott Veitch, Shalon Bourassa (Dave Lihou), Shannon Richard (Jordan Richard), Shanda Bourassa (Lance Cardinal), Sherice Bourassa (Michael Marko), Shayla Bourassa (Roman Melnyk), great grandchildren Kaylen, Terrance and Emryk Linskog, brothers & sisters Octave Chevigny Jr., Lina McMillan & Rita Buehler, in laws Raymond & Claudette Dubé, Bert & Dianne Dubé, Paulette & Michel Allard, Jeanne Dubé, many precious nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Octave Sr. & Dellamen Chevigny, brothers and sisters Louis, Cheri, Godfrey, Prosper & Marie-Ange Chevigny, Doreé Kluthe & Zéa Piquette, step father René Proulx.

Prayer services were held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 7:00 PM at St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Plamondon with Father Polycarp Chukwu officiating.

Funeral services were held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM at  St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Plamondon with Father Polycarp Chukwu officiating and interment followed in the St. Isidore's Catholic Cemetery, Plamondon.

Pallbearers were Garnet Ailsby, Mark Plamondon, Chris Manca, Guy Piquette, James Eleniak and Shawn Plamondon.
