Gordon, you were always a father figure to a young nêhiyaw man. I apologize to and your family for not being able to attend your wake or funeral, but know that you still live in our hearts and I will always fondly remember my stays at your place in Buffalo Lake all those years ago. êkosi, ka-wâpamitin kihtwâm misawâc.

To The Bourque Family: we were very Blessed to have meet the Bourque Family.I met Gordon in Mosquito Reservation in a camp meeting,my late parents loved to listen them preach,singing an listen to their testimonies,. they had taped them and wen we would listen to them on tape, we would have a gosple meeting in the livingroom listening to their music and the power of Holy Spirit wood come upon us .Gordon finish his WORK in the world for our Jesus NOW hes with the Lord.GOD BLESS TO THE BOURQUE FAMILY.LOVE YOU AND PRAISE GOD OUR HEAVENLY FATHER.YOUR DAD WENT HOME TO BE WITH THE ALMIGHTY GOD OUR SAVIOR....

I always enjoyed having Gordon and his brothers around. Excellent music, fantastic preaching and just a great old time in the Lord. You never had time to be down when they were around they had you laughing to no end. When I talked with Gordon a couple weeks ago we were to get together for tea and some jammin. Cindy your Dad and I spoke about your music and he was so proud as he said you were a very annointed singer and a very very good preacher. Proud as only a dads can be. I thank the Lord for allowing Gordon to pass through my life and if we the world can't have him I am glad that God has him. Last smile he was preaching about a man having a vocation. Gordon slipped a word and said the Lord wanted us to have a vacation. My condolences go out to the family but rejoice he is home. He has run the good race. God bless you all.
