Mariam Abou Hassan Fayad

Mary Abou Hassan Fayad was born on June 10, 1930 in Khirbetrouha, Lebanon. She married Ahmed Fayad in 1944 and immigrated to Canada in 1962. She arrived in Lac La Biche in February 1962. She is predeceased by her parents Lila and AbdulRahman Abouhassan, her 2 brothers Mohamed and Ahmed, and her sister Halima. Her husband Ahmed passed away in July of 2000. She is survived by her son Otto (Maryam) and her Daughter Atteya (Mohamed) and her 7 grandchildren Abdulsalam, Faisal, Tariq, Hussein Abdulghani;  Ahmed, Rawan, and Deena Fayad and also one great grandchild Mohamed Abdulghani. She was the heart and soul of our family and she will be sorely missed. May Allah send his mercy and blessings on her soul and grant her he highest levels of heaven.

Funeral Service held on Wednesday, June 5 at 2:00pm at Al Kareem Mosque in Lac La Biche, AB with Imam Mohamed officiating.

Reception at Bold Center in the Devon Room.
