On Monday, September 11, 2017 Quinn LaRose of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement passed away at the age of 45 years. Quinn is survived by his wife Connie Paquette, mother Edna LaRose, sisters and brother Judy LaRose, Elaine LaRose (Guy), Beverly LaRose (Karl), Kaylynn LaRose (Clayton), Carol Memnook (Stacey), Darrell Dion (Jody), numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Quinn is predeceased by father Henry LaRose in 2009 and sister Jeanette LaRose in 2008.

A Wake was held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Buffalo Lake Community Hall in Buffalo Lake.

Funeral Services were held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Buffalo Lake Community Hall in Buffalo Lake with Reverend Robert Wright officiating and interment  followed in the Buffalo Lake Community Cemetery, Buffalo Lake.

Pallbearers were Dusty Howse, J.R. LaRose, Jamal LaRose, Reggie Reid, Terry Smallface, Blair Stevens. 

Honourary Pallbearers were Norman Desjarlais, Darrell Dion, Stevie Jackson, Christian LaRose, Leon Patenaude, Nelson Patenaude.
