Remi Hamelin Obituary
On Saturday, August 25, 2018 Remi Ernest Hamelin of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 69 years. Remi is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Elizabeth “Beth” Hamelin, children Kellie (Justin) Hamelin, James Hamelin, Peter Hamelin, grandchildren Kalyn (Bobby) Hamelin, Alicia Hamelin-Germain, Mercedes Foresburg, Jaxin Hopwood, great granddaughter Kayde Hamelin-Sherbakov, siblings Lucille (Lawson) Hamelin, Allan Hamelin, David Hamelin, Josephine (Cecil) Hamelin, Anna-Marie Cardinal, Robert McCallum, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Remi is predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Lena Hamelin, siblings Peter, Richard, Donald, Florence, Bertha, Anette and Randy.
A Service of Remembrance was held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Lac La Biche, AB with Fr. Aureus Manjares officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Honourary Pallbearers were Leonard Cardinal, Bonnie Hamelin, Kyle Hamelin, Jaxin Hopwood, Joey Huppie, Billy Taha.
