Richard William Cardinal

On Friday, July 27, 2018 Richard William Cardinal of Pierceland, SK passed away at the age of 61 years. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Bernadine Crookedneck, children Willie (Mary) Gadwa, Maurice Gadwa, Andy (Ashley) Gadwa, Michael Gadwa, Belinda (Elvis) Crookedneck, Joanne (Craig) Crookedneck, Richard Jr. (Kristy) Crookedneck, Stacy (Jeff) Cardinal, Koda Dreaver, siblings  Ernest (Violet) Cardinal, Jerome (Michelle) Cardinal, Emilene (Robert) Jackson, Teresa Bray, Susan Desjarlais, Charles (Nancy) Desjarlais, Alvina (Emile) Desjarlais, Dorothy Desjarlais, Albert (Rhoda) Cardinal, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Richard is predeceased by his parents Caroline and Alexander Desjarlais and brother Randy Desjarlais.

A Wake was held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Beaver Lake Multipurpose Building in Beaver Lake Cree Nation.

A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10:00am at the Beaver Lake Multipurpose Building in Beaver Lake Cree Nation. Interment followed in the Beaver Lake Cemetery, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, AB.

Honourary Pallbearers were all of his friends and family.

Pallbearers were Mike Alexan, Gerald Owen Crookedneck, Emile Desjarlais, Ryan Desjarlais, Elivs Dreaver, Casey Gadwa, Merle Gadwa, Craig Lewis.
