Alphonse "Al" Joseph Lameman

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Alphonse “Al” Joseph Lameman of Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta announce his passing on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the age of 79 years. 

Al is survived by his loving wife of 53 years: Doreen Lameman; children: Gary (Dana) Lameman, Mark Verge, Tina Lameman, Darcy Lameman, Dwayne Lameman; siblings: Ron (Donna) Lameman, Delores Lameman, Gary J. (Bernice) Lameman, Elaine (Julius) Lameman, Lena Keeler, Bernice Langevin, Joyce Pruden, Ray (Peggy) Pruden grandchildren: Kenneth (Brianna), Dakota (Rebecca), Laurie, Wade (Tiony), Katie (Justin), Keesha (Kirkland), Taushandre, Mary, Sara, Thomas, Darby, Bryn, Brandon (Shaida), Hailey (Dillion), Nathania, Nate; great grandchildren: Hayden, Callie, Asher, Elizabeth, Gabriel, (Pookie) Parker, Ariana, Haezlen, Dilayza,  Kairo, Miguel, Athena, Andrew, Kameela, Kaylani; special aunt: Sara; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. 

Al was predeceased by his parents: Victoria & Isadore Lameman; brothers: Eric Lameman, Marvin Pruden, Roy Pruden, Leonard Pruden; sister: Violet Jarvis. 

Wake: Monday, November 28, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the Beaver Lake Community Centre, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta. 

Pipe Ceremony: Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Traditional Service at 10:00 a.m. at the Beaver Lake Community Centre, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta. 

Pallbearers: Wade Lameman, Dakota Sallenbach, Taushandre Lameman, Terry Smallface, Michael Lameman, John Sharphead. 

Honorary Pallbearers: All those from his beloved community of Beaver Lake Cree Nation & Treaty Chiefs current and past. 

Final Resting Place: Beaver lake Community Cemetery, Beaver Lake Cree Nation, Alberta.
