Belle Martin

The family of Belle Martin of Lac La Biche, Alberta are saddened to announce her passing on January 6, 2024 at the age of 81 years.

Belle will be lovingly remembered by her children: Darryl Donna) Martin, Darcy (Christine) Martin, Diana Martin, Vaughn (Tara) Breton, Cheri (Lyle) Thompson; grandchildren: Erica, Devin (Julia), Chantina, Delaney (Josh), Brailey, Kelly, Kylan, Kale; great grandchild: Parker Belle Hamelin; sisters: Mabel Brown, Shellie Champagne; brothers: Pat (Jacquie) Houle, Carmen Houle and numerous sister in-laws and family members.

Belle was predeceased by her loving husband: John Martin; parents: Walter and Winifred Houle, brother: Garnett Houle; sisters: Lillian Laliberte, Bernice (Houle) Breton; brother’s in-law: Maynard Laliberte, Larry Brown, Bill Martin, Leo Bachand, Phil Martin, Frank Martin; sister’s in-law: Marilyn Houle, Denise Bachand, Joan Shaw.

Public Visitation: Sunday, January 14, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., Mission View Funeral Chapel, Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Funeral Service: Monday, January 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Anselmo Landoy officiating. St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Luncheon to follow Funeral service at the Lac La Biche Legion, Lac La Biche, Alberta

Cremation to follow.
