Betty Jean Castor

The family of Betty Castor of Lac La Biche, Alberta are saddened to announce her sudden passing on November 27, 2023 at the age of 63 years.

Betty will be lovingly remembered by her children: Melanie Hawrysh, Matthew Castor (Chantel Flett) grandchildren: Giorgia, Grayson, Cambria, Jate, Tasy, Lain, Leeson; sisters: Shirley Kotovich, Lynette Boucher; brothers: Donald Spence, Roland Spence, Paul Spence, Melton Spence, Doug Spence; pets: Kit-Kit, Sam, Jake, Baby Snow.

Betty was predeceased by her son: Mark Castor (2013); daughter: Cindy Castor; sister: Velma Cadieux.

Wake: Monday, December 4, 2023, Lac La Biche Agricom, Lac La Biche, Alberta (leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel at 12:45pm), Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:30 a.m., St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church, Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Pallbearers: Matthew Castor, Virgil Kotovich, Paul Spence, Doug Spence, Devon Spence, Tyler Cardinal.

Honorary Pallbearers: Melanie Hawrysh, Samantha Boyd.

Final resting place: Willow Park Cemetery, Lac La Biche, Alberta.
