Brydon Ward Obituary

On Tuesday, September 22, 2020 Brydon Ward of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 74 years. Brydon is survived by his loving wife Susan, the old spawner, of 50 years, daughters Christie and Morgan, son in law Tom, the sparkle in his eye Landry and Blake, brother Tim And Janice Ward, extended family, Margaret and Frank Brunning, Jack and Joan Liland, Max and Nancy Christie, Ryerson Morley and Susan Christie, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends from around the world.
Predeceased by:
His parents, Tom and Ivie Ward, in laws, Ryerson and Kathleen Christie, sister in law Judy Christie and great nephew Derek Andrusiak
While Brydon deeply loved his family and friends, his first love was nature. He spent 35 years at the Alberta Forest Service, a career that he was extremely proud of. After retiring in 1995, he moved into roles at Alpac and back at the forest service, where he expanded his knowledge and experience in forestry. Throughout his career, he was a mentor to many young foresters and influenced so many careers.
Brydon was known for his love of Loud shirts, campfires, golf games, a good stogie, fighting for his community, entertaining friends, travel with his beloved, a stiff rum, and his unforgettable laugh and one-liners.
He was “a beauty” and will surely be missed around the world.
