Carolyn Rose Winterburn

On Wednesday, July 28, 2021 Carolyn Rose Winterburn of Normandeau, Alberta passed away suddenly at the young age of 23 years.

Carolyn is lovingly survived by her common-law husband: Cody Smith; father: Randy Winterburn; mother: Crystal Carrier; stepfather: Sylvain Carrier; brother: Joe Winterburn; sister: Cassie Winterburn; stepbrother: Brandon Carrier; stepsister: Chantal Carrier; grandparents: Rosemarie & Ralph Emard, Carol & Don Carlson, Shelly & Don Winterburn; aunt and uncles: Amanda Lavis, Victoria & Chuck Graves, Kendra & Bob Winterburn, Chance Neron, Jamie Lavis; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

“On Saturday August 7th we will be laying Carolyn Winterburn to rest. We would like to open up our home in Normandeau (12461 township road 651 Lac La Biche) at 10am( to her friends and family on this day to pay their respects to my beloved daughter.
We will saddle up and accompany her for one last ride at noon, we will travel together the few miles down the road to the cemetery where she will be lay to rest. If you would like to join her on this ride, you are welcome to bring a saddle horse, wagon or putt along behind in your vehicle. There will be a brief graveside service upon arrival and we welcome you to Normandeau Hall for refreshments and a lunch in celebration of her life.”
