On Saturday, March 20, 2021 Catherine "Katie" Leach of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 93 years.
Kaite is lovingly survived her 5 children: Lucille (Wayne) Peterson, Shirley (Dave) Onciul, Stella (Don) Peterson, Joanne (Bob) Halseth & Daniel (Carol) Leach; numerous grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren: Hailey, Miller, Carter & Liam; 2 brothers Solomen Benson & Ernie Benson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Katie was predeceased by her husband: Steve Leach; daughter: Joyce; 2 sons: David & Eric; sister: Mary Duchnych; 6 brothers: Jimmy, Gerald, Peter, Sam, Charlie & Emile; parents Mary Jean & Edward Benson.
Pallbearers: Kyle Leach, Corey Leach, Cody Leach, Trevor Leach, Brian Leach, Miller Leach.
A private graveside funeral service will be held with Pastor Emmanuel Chiwele officiating.
Final resting place Willow Park Cemetery in Lac La Biche, Alberta.
