It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Christopher Shane Wall of Lac La Biche, Alberta, on August 22, 2025, at the young age of 49 years. Chris was surrounded by his family whom he loved deeply.
Chris loved life and enjoyed hockey, fishing, dirt biking, quiet drives in the country, music and, above all, his family and friends. He always put others first. He had a gentle, quiet and thoughtful spirit. Although he suffered much, he quietly took it in stride. He showed strength that can only be described as heroic. He was the pride of his nephews who said hi grandma as they passed through the pantry for snacks on their way to Uncle Chris. They spent hours playing hockey and various computer games. He had a knack for remembering what others wanted or needed and surprised them often with thoughtful gifts. His love and wisdom will be missed.
He will be lovingly remembered and sorely missed by his mother: Joann Huffman; stepfather: Jack Huffman; sisters: Tiffani (Curtis) Beniuk, Jenna Huffman; brother: Jordan (Tanika) Huffman; nephews: Ryley (Tia) Beniuk, Jayden Beniuk, Keithan Beniuk, Gabriel Ouellette; great nephews: Lakelyn Beniuk, Stetson Beniuk; step grandparents: Jack & Shirley Huffman.
He was predeceased by his father: Allen Wall; paternal grandparents: Jacob & Mary Wall; maternal grandparents: David and Bernice Cadieux.
Funeral service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church, Lac La Biche, Alberta, on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Final resting place will be at the Evangelical Free Cemetery.
