Conrad Joseph Parent

Conrad Joseph Parent, a dedicated family man, passionate farmer, and man of profound faith, passed away on March 14,2026, at the age of 87 years, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Conrad’s heart belonged to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his 6 children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He cherished time spent socializing, laughing, and sharing stories of the past with his brothers and sisters. Guided by his belief in God, he moved through life with wisdom and a gentle spirit.

Conrad is survived by his beloved wife: Marcia Parent of 45 years, of Edmonton, Alberta; children: Blair (Nadine) Parent of Breynat, Alberta, Robert Parent of Breynat, Alberta, Reginald Parent of Breynat, Alberta, Nadine (Rick) Jarrett of Camrose, Alberta, Jeffery Parent, of Edmonton, Alberta, Stephanie Parent-Chandler (Joseph) of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren: Kain (Alanna) Parent, Charloe (Aimee) Parent, Paden Parent, Ryley (Victor) Egoroff, Macy Jarrett, Noelyn Parent, Grayson Jarrett, Myles Chandler, Shae Chandler; great grandchildren: Sawyer Parent, Hudson Parent, Mina Egoroff, Eona Egoroff, Cezar Parent; brother: Gerald (Suzanne) Parent; sisters: Celine (Don) Gartner, Rita (Wayne) Kading, Gertrude (Michael) Lefebvre; sisters-in-law: Vivian Aubee,  Paula Ocheltree; brother-in-law: Paul Ocheltree; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Conrad is predeceased by his parents: Charles Parent & Albertine Parent; sister: Carol Parent; brothers: Lionel Aubee, Dorien Aubee.

Funeral Service, Monday, March 23, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Breynat, Alberta with Father Adrian Tumanda officiating. Final Resting Place, St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Breynat, Alberta.
