Cynthia (Cindi) Lynn Thorpe

It is with great sadness that the family of Cynthia (Cindi) Lynn Thorpe announces her passing at the age of 63 years on July 4, 2025, at the William J. Cadzow Healthcare Centre, Lac La Biche, Alberta. 

Cindi was born in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. to William & Doris Thorpe, moving to Canada at the age of 18 years. She had a spice for life and loved all animals. She had a special interest in dog-sledding, crocheting, photography and enjoyed spending her time gardening . Her favourite song was House Of The Rising Sun, by The Animals, Eric Burdon.

Cindi is survived by her loving husband of 25 years: Richard Bayly; daughter: Fay Eagles (Cam Switzer), of Edmonton, Alberta; sons: Brien Eagles (Chanel) of Langford, British Columbia, Bret Eagles, of Victoria, British Columbia; brother: Joe Thorpe; sister: Vicki Johnson; her beloved pets: Sophie and the cats; as well as her family and many friends.

She was predeceased by her parents: William & Doris Thorpe.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the William J. Cadzow Healthcare Centre in Lac La Biche, Alberta, for their care, compassion and assistance over the last few months.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
