It is with much love and saddened hearts that the family of Dean Jones of Lac La Biche, Alberta announce his passing on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at the age of 80 years.

Dean is lovingly survived by his spouse: Janet; daughter: Melody; son: Brad (Barb); grandchildren: Bailee, Breina (Cohan), Shiloh (Justin), Bronwyn (Nick); brother: Lewis; sister: Alice; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Dean was predeceased by his parents: Edna & William; brother: Robert; Grandson: James.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025 from 1:30p.m. to 4:00p.m. at Lac La Biche Heritage Center, 10112 102 Ave, Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Donations on behalf of Dean can go to Community Learning (for the Stone Soup Food Center), 10140 102St Unit 101/102, Lac La Biche, Alberta. Cash or cheque donations to be made out to Community Learning, 780-623-2477. Other donations can be made to any homeless shelter or food bank of one’s choice.
