Denis Urban Boucher

On Saturday, February 5th, 2022 Denis Urban Boucher of Lac La Biche, Alberta passed away at the age of 71 years.

Denis is lovingly survived by his wife of 43 years: Christine Boucher; children: Trevor Boucher, Dennis Jr. Boucher, Urban Janvier, Simone Herman; grandchildren: Marissa Boucher, Hialey, Alysa Beardy, Dillon, Jessica Merrier, Blair Omeasoo, Sean, Jullian Leslie Houle, Melanie, Stephanie, Marc Janvier; great grandchildren: Lynden Bird, Skarlet Merrier, Tyler Janvier; brothers: Paul, Micheal (Edna) Boucher; sisters: Albertine Bourque, Alice (Raymond) Gagnon; brothers in law: Floyde Cardinal, Sonny Desjarlais, Dennis Cardinal; nieces, nephews: Lorena Cardinal, Myra Cardinal, Jonathan Armstrong, Tyler Desjarlais; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Denis was predeceased by his parents: Flora & Joseph Boucher; grandson: Austin Boucher; siblings: Reggie, Marcel, Bernadette, Eli, Russell, Anette, Emma Spence, Henry Boucher, Felix Boucher; sister in law: Dianne Armstrong.

Pallbearers: Sonny Desjarlais, Tyler Desjarlais, Sean Gust, Ken Desjarlais, Leif Gust, Martin Boucher.

One night wake, 5:00 PM at the Heritage Centre on Friday, February 18, 2022, Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Funeral service, 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Lac La Biche, Alberta.

“Also Sean, Leif were the employers to Denis, which they looked up to him as the father figure and also the coworkers. They became his second family to my husband who he loved and cared for. He also will be missed by his coffee buddies at A&W. Denis was a part of the Local Union #92 for 47 years.”
