Doreen Maurine Howse

It is with great sadness that the family of Doreen Maurine Howse of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement announces her passing on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the age of 74 years.

Doreen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years: Gilbert Howse; daughters: Claudette (Jamie), Shelley, Heather (Chad); grandchildren: Emily (Scott), Stephen (Mary), Joey, Sam (Waseskwan), Sherra (Zack), Brett, Prince; great granddaughter: Sipiyeskwew; brother: Charles; best friend: Mildred; as well as, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Doreen was predeceased by her son: Earl Shott; parents: Sam & Victoria Shott; sisters: Lillian, Violet; brothers: Cliff, Mike; nephews: Ryan Judd, Dale Howse, Andy Howse; niece: Camillia Shott; in-laws: Adolphus & Agnes Howse, William Howse, Ester, Irene.

Wake: Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Buffalo Lake Community Centre, Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, Alberta.

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Buffalo Lake Community Centre, Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, Alberta.

Pallbearers: Brett Howse-Mitchell, Joe Lachance, Stephen Lachance, Sam Patenaude, Lance Patenaude, Scott Badry.

Honorary Pallbearers: All her friends & family, as well as, all the people that loved her.

Final resting place: Buffalo Lake Cemetery, Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, Alberta.
