Dorothy Annie Schwitz

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Dorothy “Gramma Dynamite” Schwitz of Plamondon, Alberta announces her passing on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the age of 103 years.

Dorothy will be forever remembered by her loving children: Larry (Colette) Schwitz, Edna (Andy) Gauthier, Wanda (Walter) Richard; Grandchildren: Audrey (Robert) Perron, Dorothy (Mark) Bowman, Kevin (Paula) Schwitz, Nona (Austin) Nippard, Malvin (Danielle) Schwitz, Lori (Ross) Tarrant, Neil (Jodi) Gauthier, Mitchel Gauthier, Faye Gauthier, Tammy (Shaun) Richard, Michael (Connie) Richard, Darrell (Janelle) Richard, Curtis Richard; great grandchildren: Aiden, Rachel, Todd, Brooklyn, Joshua, Steven, Natalie, Emily, Bodey, Madison, Darby, Shay-lee, Jayce, Rock, Rosalie, Ayden, Brittany, Payden, Kallen, Jaxen, Riley, Jessilyn; great great grandchildren: Jax and Kade; sister: Mary Senetza.

Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years Otto (1996); son: Melvin (1957); daughter: Leona (2020); brothers: Jesse (1983), Bert (1990), Clarence (2002), Don (2004), James (2011); sisters: Bertha (1991), Alva (1990), Lillie (1995), Rosie (1991), Sadie (1981), Clara (2006); parents: William (1956) and Wilhelmina (1944).

Pallbearers: Kevin Schwitz, Neil Gauthier, Michael Richard, Curtis Richard, Malvin Schwitz, Mitchel Gauthier, Darrell Richard.

As per Dorothy’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.

Final resting place: St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery, Plamondon, Alberta.
