Elaine Boucher

With heavy hearts, the family of Elaine Clara Boucher announces her passing on February 17, 2026, in Lac La Biche, Alberta, at the age of 63 years.

Elaine’s life was defined by a heart that knew no boundaries. To her husband, Dennis, she was a steadfast partner and his greatest source of strength. To her children, she was an anchor, but her motherhood extended far beyond her own bloodline. The door to Elaine’s home was never locked, and her kitchen table was never empty. She believed that no child should ever go hungry or feel unloved. Whether they were friends, neighbours, or strangers, every child who walked through her door was met with a warm meal and the kind of welcome that made them feel they truly belonged. Over the decades, many grew up calling her "Mama," knowing that her home was a safe haven of unconditional love. She found her greatest joy at the hockey rink, cheering on her grandchildren.

Her memory will be cherished by her children: Steven Partaker, Laureena Partaker, Payden (Tessa) Partaker, Kenneth (Corey) Partaker; grandchildren: Trinity Partaker, Luke Cardinal, Dayton Partaker, Matthew McGillivray, Charlotte McGillivray, Jordynn McGillivray, Eara Partaker, Trent Partaker, Lindsay Partaker, as well as multiple grandchildren; brothers: Lester (Rosa) Partaker, Curtis Partaker, Ritchie (Tina) Partaker, Robbie Partaker; sisters: Priscilla (Jason) Partaker, Patricia (Rick) Partaker; special nephew: Larson (Amanda) Cardinal; sister-in-law: Irene Partaker; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She will be going in to the arms of her husband: Dennis Boucher; her mother: Madeline Eva Cardinal; her father: Arthur Steve Partaker; her parents-in-law: Madeline McDonald & Vital Boucher; her sister: Charlotte (Brian White) Cardinal; her brother: Mike Partaker; her grandson: Mark McGillivray.

Elaine will be going home to Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta, on Friday, February 27, 2026. Leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel, 133 Sentinel Drive, Lac La Biche, Alberta, at 11:00 a.m. 

Funeral service will be held at the Kikino Community Centre 310 14th Street, Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Father Anselmo Landoy will be officiating. Her final resting place will be at the Kikino Cementery. 

Pallbearers: Payden Partaker, Steven Partaker, Larson Cardinal, Kenneth Partaker, Justin Collins, Randie Collins.

Honorary Pallbearers: Luke Cardinal, Dustin McGillivray, Dayton Partaker, Matthew McGillivray, all of her family and friends.
