Emma Mary Bates

It is with deep sadness and much love that the family of Emma Mary Bates of Lac La Biche, Alberta announces her passing on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the age of 85 years.

Emma will be forever remembered and loved by her sisters: Madeleine Rudiger, Esther Rudiger, Mary Johnston, Linda (Gilbert) Cardinal, Patricia (Kerry) Archibald; brother: Ron Johnston; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Emma was predeceased by her husband: Lester Bates; parents: Esther and Leonide Johnston; brothers: William Johnston, Joseph Johnston, Dolphus Johnston, Harry Johnston.

Service of Remembrance, Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at the Evangelical Free Church, Lac La Biche AB.

Pallbearers: Ron Johnston, Eric Johnston, Dan Shillaker, Lee Johnston, Sean Sealy, Allan Przysiezny.

Honourary Pallbearers: All those who knew and loved her.

Final Resting place, Willow Park Cemetery, Lac La Biche, AB. at a later date.
