It is with profound sadness and much love that the family of Eugene Lawrence Bourque announces his passing on August 24, 2025, in Ft. McMurray, Alberta, at the age of 68 years.

Eugene leaves to mourn his children: Nicole Cardinal, Kim Cardinal, Catlin (Angela) Fischer, Farron (Katrina) Mamela; grandchildren: Tyrese Cardinal, Darius Cardinal, Tanita Cardinal, Leeland Collins, Vayda Tremblay, Bowdin Boucher, Kagen Mamela, Amira Mamela, James Fischer; brothers: Richard Harpe, Dennis (Tamara) Harpe; sisters: Evelyn Harpe, Marlene Harpe, Lena (Vern) Cardinal, Marilyn (Allen) Gorday; his special friend: Lisa Mamela.

Eugene is predeceased by his parents: Lawrence Harpe, Vivian Bourque; children: Wesley Cardinal, Ashley Cardinal; brother: Dennis Harpe, Allen Harpe; niece: Janelle Harpe.

A small family viewing will be held Thursday August 28, 2025 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at Mission View Funeral Chapel, 133 Sentinel Drive, Lac La Biche, Alberta.
