The family of Gladys Beraska of Edmonton, Alberta formerly of Lac La Biche, Alberta are saddened to announce her passing on August 13, 2024 at the age of 84 years.

Gladys will be lovingly remembered by her children: Keith (Viktoriya) Beraska, Kim (James) Derouin; grandchildren: Taisiya Beraska, Hunter Derouin; brothers: Gordon (Charlotte) Trefenanko, Roy Trefenanko; sisters: Patricia Blair, Susan (Bob) Lett, Sally (Pat) Vincent; sister in-laws: Mary (Bill) Pisarewski, Joyce Kulyk, Gloria (Mike) Shewchuk, and numerous family and friends.

Gladys was predeceased by her husband: Orest Beraska; parents: Metro and Helen Trefenanko, brother in-laws: Ron Blair, George Berg, Eli Beraska, John Beraska, David Beraska, Brian Cheyney, John Kulyk; sister in-laws: Jayne Berg, Elizabeth Cheyney.

Funeral Service: Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Mission View Funeral Chapel, Lac La Biche, Alberta with Rev. Fr. Dr. Roman Shiyan officiating.

Final Resting Place: St. Elias Orthodox Cemetery, Wandering River, Alberta
