With broken hearts and joyous memories, the family of Glen William Yackimec announce his peaceful passing at home surrounded by family on Sunday March 15, 2026 at the age of 68 years, in Lac La Biche, Alberta.

Glen is lovingly survived by his children: Tara Desjarlais, Tyler (Stephanie) Desjarlais, Solita (Travis) Courtoreille, Tanner (Amanda) Yackimec; grandchildren: Tristin, Emily, Emmanuel, Courtney, Ivy, Dexxen, Samson, Allen, Louis: great grandson: Colt; brother: Gary (Gloria) Yackimec; sister: Debbie (Todd) Tesolin; Glen will also be remembered by his many friends and extended family.

Glen is going into the arms of his loving wife: Hazel Yackimec; parents: John & Cecile Yackimec.

Funeral Service, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., at the Evangelical Free Church in Lac La Biche, Alberta with Pastor Emmanuel Chiwele & Pastor Brad Boychuk officiating.
