Harry Johnston

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father & grandfather, Harry Johnston. On Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at the age of 71 years his earthly struggles ended and he was ushered into eternity with his Lord. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years; Jean Johnston of Lac La Biche, daughters; Rhonda (Chris) Marko of Calgary, Tammy Johnston of Okotoks, grandchildren; Emily, Olivia & Adam Marko, brother; Ron Johnston, sisters; Madeleine Rudiger, Emma Bates, Esther Rudiger, Mary Johnston, Linda (Gilbert) Cardinal, Pat (Kerri) Archibald and his sister in laws; Jeannette & Anne Johnston, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Harry is predeceased by his parents; Leonide and Esther Johnston, brothers; William, Joe & Dolphus Johnston, sisters in laws; Grace & Lorraine Johnston, brothers in law; Les Bates, Barry Rudiger and Bobby Rudiger and his nephews; Dean & Leo Johnston.

Pallbearers; Ron Johnston, Nolan Dowhaluk, Jack Huffman, Ivan Skjersven, Nestor Bochkarev and Guy Thibault.

Honourary Pallbearers, his grandchildren; Emily, Olivia & Adam Marko.

Due to ongoing Covid – 19 restrictions, a private family service has been held.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
