It is with many warm memories in their hearts that the family of Ira Alexander Kumpula announce his peaceful passing on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the age of 102 years.
Ira is lovingly survived by his sons: Ellis (Yvette) Kumpula, Elwood Kumpula, Tony (Alvina) Kumpula; grandchildren: Trevor (Deanna) Kumpula, Gavin (Karen) Kumpula, Kristen (Brad) Berezanski, Dean (Lauren) Kumpula, Dwayne (Rochelle) Kumpula; great grandchildren: Jackson, Lexy & Elizabeth Kumpula, Elodie & Beckett Berezanski, Rowan, Sutton & Laiyn Kumpula, Kale & Erikka Kumpula.
Ira was predeceased by his loving wife: Hazel Kumpula; brother: Calvin Kumpula; parents: Gus & Jenny Kumpula; sister in law: Louise Kumpula.
A private family service will be held.
Interment to follow at the Fork Lake Cemetery in Fork Lake, Alberta.
