On Monday, May 17th, 2021 Mr. Irvin Alfred Boucher of Elinor Lake, Alberta passed away peacefully at home at the age of 53. Irvin is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Janet Erasmus of Kikino Metis Settlement; children: Jonathon (Chancy) Boucher of Edmonton, Mary (Don) Beaver of Enoch Cree Nation, Cody (Tanielle) Howse of Lac LA Biche, Talis (Carter) Boucher of Edmonton, Dante Boucher of Edmonton, ‘Baby girl’ Jorja Boucher of Elinor Lake, Michael Lameman of Beaver Lake & Shona Lameman of Beaver Lake; grandchildren: Rachael, Broden, Peyton, Ryker, Justyce, Coraline, Cooper, Easton, Asher, Avilee, Chao, Caleb, lil Chris, Kathy, Olivia, & Jesse; Mother: Florence Boucher of Lac La Biche; sisters: Joann Lameman of Ontario & Tanis (Mike) Boucher of Lac La Biche; brothers: Richard (Barb) Lameman of Moose Mountain, Jack (Bernice) Boucher of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, Conrad (Muriel) Boucher of Lac La Biche; uncles: Gilbert ‘Butch’ Boucher, Luke Boucher, Harvey Boucher, Allan ‘Popcorn’ Boucher & Sidney Boucher; aunties: Denise Boucher, Priscilla Boucher, Christine Ward & Linda Ward. Irvin is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Irvin was predeceased by his father: Rene ‘Chip’ Boucher; sisters: Roxanne, Clara, Peggy, Myrtle, Marlene & Mary Lou; brothers: Wayne, Clifford, Adrian & Joseph; paternal grandparents: Victor & Clara Boucher; maternal grandparents: Frank & Emily Ward. Irvin was also predeceased by numerous aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers: Michael Lameman, Michael Steinhauer, Clayton Ross, Leeroy Lavallee, Shelton Jackson, Clint Lavallee.
A viewing will be held at Mission View Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Covid-19 capacity restrictions will be strictly followed.
A two-day Wake Service will be held on May 22nd & May 23rd in Elinor Lake at Irvin’s residence.
Funeral procession will begin on Monday, May 24th, 2021 at 11:30 AM. Due to Covid -19 restrictions, a private Graveside Service to follow at the Willow Park Cemetery.
