It is with much love and memories to treasure that the family of Jeremie “Jerry” Gauthier announces his passing on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the age of 81 years.
Jerry will be forever remembered and loved by his beloved wife of 47 years: Karen Gauthier; two children: Kari Gauthier, Kirk Gauthier; two grandchildren: Krystin (Chris) Vanderwede, Aaron Gauthier; one great granddaughter: Aubrey Grace Vanderwede; six siblings: Rita (Charlie) Gaudet, Lucille (Phil) Richard, Joe (Pauline) Gauthier, Donalie (Dave) Bears, Phil Bosse, Raymond Bosse; brothers in law: Wayne MacMillan, Dale Spink; sister in law: Colleen Chupka; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jerry was predeceased by his sister Therese; parents: Clarence Gauthier and Hilda Bosse; stepfather: Donald Bosse; sister: Louise Spink; father in law: Collin MacMillan; mother in law: Lina MacMillan.
Jerry will forever be remembered for his love of life, his wicked sense of humor, and many hats he wore throughout his life, including: iron worker, electrician, volunteer, carpenter, farmer, hospital maintenance and comedian. Jerry was best known as the “Mad Trapper”.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the Lac La Biche Humane Society or the charity of one choice, in Jerry’s memory, would be appreciated.
