John Yakoweshen

On Friday, January 10, 2020 John Yakoweshen of Lac La Biche, AB passed away at the age of 92 years. John is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Mary Yakoweshen, children Lorraine (Gerald) Turgeon, Linda (Dave) Zdebliak, Gary (Alva) Mouille, Marcel (Donna Marczak) Mouille, Debbie (Dwayne) Burdek, 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, daughter in law Geralyn Mouille, brother George (Georgina) Yakoweshen, sister in law Gay Yakoweshen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. John is predeceased by his parents Rose and William Yakoweshen, brother Eli Yakoweshen, sister Mary Stefanyk, nephew Bryan Yakoweshen, grandchild Kurt Zdebliak, step son Dennis Mouille.

Funeral Service on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00am at Craigend Community Hall in Craigend, AB with Rev. Fr. Dr. Roman Shiyan  officiating. Interment in the St. Demetrius Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Craigend, AB.

Pallbearers Tyler Burdek, Bradley Mouille, Matthew Mouille, Dean Turgeon, Daley Yakoweshen, Skye Yakoweshen.
