It is with heavy hearts that the family of Joseph “Joe” Lavallee announce his peaceful passing on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the age of 72 years.
Joe is lovingly survived by his wife of 54 years: Violet Lavallee; children: James (Charlotte) Lavallee, Cindy Lavallee, Rodney Lavallee, Ashley ( Jeanine Cardinal) Lavallee; sisters: Marie Boucher, Melva (Clarence Smith) Boucher; brothers: Henry Lavallee, Archie (Nancy Gardner) Lavallee, Walter Lavallee; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; God children: Jacqueline Lavallee ,Jenelle Cardinal, Raynelle Lavallee, Sylvia Boucher, Jessica Hogan, Sheila Desjarlais, James Jr. Lavallee, Lila Boucher; as well as numerous: nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Joe has gone on to be reunited with his twin girls: Patsy Lynn Lavallee, Teania Marie Lavallee; parents: Victor & Victoria Lavallee; sisters: Denise Lavallee, Delphine Veillette, Alvina Lavallee; brother: Camile Lavallee; in laws: Raymond & Annie Cardinal; brother in law: Andrew Cardinal.
Honorary Pallbearers: Zander, Broden, Marcus, Zoey, Kayden, Layla, Saphira.
Pallbearers: James Jr. Lavallee, Tiara Lavallee, Tyler Primo, Don Boucher, Ris Lavallee, Calvin Lavallee.
A one night wake will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 starting at 3 pm at the Owl River Hall in Owl River, Alberta.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 1 pm at the Owl River Hall in Owl River, Alberta with Father Anselmo Landoy officiating.
Final resting place, Our Lady of the Snow Cemetery in Big Bay, Alberta.
