Joseph "Joe" Berard

With heavy hearts, the family of Joseph (Joe) Berard sadly announce his passing on April 13, 2025, in Lac La Biche, Alberta, at the age of 95 years.

Joe is lovingly survived by his children: Lorraine (Ron) Whitford, Nelson (Jackie) Baldhead, Irene Berard; adopted son: Andy Quintal; daughter-in-law: Lisa Quintal; stepson: Clarence (Sharon) Halfe; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents: Hormidas and Julia Berard; his spouse: Annie Baldhead; children: Ernest Berard, Lynda Berard, Theresa Berard, Margaret Berard, Brenda Berard, Helen Baldhead, Clifford Baldhead; brothers: Leo Berard, Peter Berard, Norman Berard, Mike Berard; sisters: Alice Berard, Isabel Jacknife, Cecile Tiedemann, Mary Krueger.

Wake: Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Beaver Lake Community Centre, Beaver Lake, Alberta. Leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m.

Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Beaver Lake Community Centre, Beaver Lake, Alberta.  

Funeral Service: Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the Beaver Lake Community Centre, Beaver Lake, Alberta.

Pallbearers: Sheldon Whitford, Dale Berard, Ronnie Berard, Noah Shirt, Jarrett Berard, Randy Berard.

Honorary Pallbearers: All who knew and loved Joe.

Final Resting Place: Beaver Lake Community Cemetery.
