Josephine Lachance

After a life well lived, and a soul destined to soar, the family of Josephine Virginia Lachance, of Lac La Biche, Alberta, sadly announce the passing of their sister on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the age of 57 years.

Josephine is lovingly survived by her special niece: Sarah Desjarlais; special nephew: Tyler Desjarlais; siblings: Henry Lachance, Jerry (Maxine) Desjarlais, Christine (Clifton) Desjarlais, Gerald Whitefish, Leroy Whitfish; As well as many family and friends.

Josephine is predeceased by her parents: Samarie Lachance & Mary Desjarlais; brothers: Gary Lachance, Edward Desjarlais, Fredrick Desjarlais; Nephews: Matthew Gabriel, Jerry Desjarlais Jr.

Pallbearers: Clifton McKay, Aiden Desjarlais, Jerry Desjarlais, Kevin Evans, Ernie Desjarlais, Erwin Boucher; honorary pallbearers: all who loved and knew Josephine.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Triumphant Life Center in Lac La Biche, Alberta, with Pastor Brad Boychuk officiating. Final resting place, Willow Park Cemetery in Lac La Biche, Alberta.
